Who is behind Homestead?
When entrepreneur and Homestead Founder, Tegan Martin-Drysdale imagined an Edmonton co-working space, she envisioned an inspiring space where the City’s entrepreneurs, thinkers and doers could focus on their work, but also feel safe to bounce ideas off each other.
Tegan is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited civil engineer and President of The RedBrick Group of Companies. Before the dream of Homestead was realized, she visited coworking spaces from Saskatoon to New York, marveling at the new ways people pursue careers and do the work they are passionate about. And great opportunity came knocking when Alberta Block Building was listed.
Homestead now has 30 business members and 60 individual members. Our community manager, Frances Connolly, aims to facilitate membership interaction and plans community events. Whether you are a solo entrepreneur, freelancer or small business, Homestead is a coworking space where you will inspire and be inspired.
